Getting paid

Selling on DZBuild does not put your revenue inside DZBuild. There is no store balance, no wallet page and no payout button in the dashboard, because the money never arrives here in the first place. A buyer pays your courier or pays your own account, and you pay DZBuild separately for the plan you use.

DZBuild never holds your money

What the platform records is the order: the amount, the buyer, the items, the status. Moving the actual cash is between you and either your courier or your buyer.

  • DZBuild takes no percentage of any sale, on any plan and at any volume.
  • Nothing is deducted from what you collect. No order fee, no transfer fee, no clearing delay.
  • You do not open an account with DZBuild to receive money, and there is no document check: no ID, no registre de commerce, no verification step before you can sell.

Physical orders: your courier collects and pays you

Every physical store runs on Cash on Delivery. The courier hands over the parcel, takes the cash from the buyer, and pays you afterwards.

  • The courier pays you directly, into whatever account you agreed with them when you opened your courier account. DZBuild is not part of that transfer and has no visibility into it.
  • The cadence and the delivery fee belong to the courier, not to DZBuild, and they differ from one company to the next. Ask your courier's account manager for their remittance cycle before you plan cash flow around it.
  • Which amount the courier is told to collect depends on the provider. Some receive only the product subtotal and add their own tariff on top; others receive the order total including shipping. Cash on Delivery lists which family does what.

Digital orders: the buyer transfers to your own account

A Digital-theme store has no courier and no cash. The buyer picks one of the accounts you published, transfers the money to it outside the platform, then uploads a screenshot of the transfer at checkout.

  • You define those accounts yourself on the digital payment page (/dashboard/digital/payment): method name, account-holder name, the payment details and the instructions the buyer reads. Up to 10 methods per store.
  • The built-in types are CCP, BaridiMob and RedotPay, plus Custom for any other manual bank transfer you want to accept.
  • The money goes from the buyer's account into yours. DZBuild only stores the receipt image so you can check it.
  • You open the order on the digital orders page (/dashboard/digital/orders), look at the screenshot, and mark the payment as received. Nothing is verified automatically.
  • Each method can carry an extra fee expressed as a percentage. It is added server-side to the buyer's total, and you collect it with the rest.

Publishing payment methods on a digital store needs the paid Payment Gateway addon (500 DZD per month). Until it is active that page shows only the purchase card and no method can be saved. The full walkthrough is on Payments.

What you pay outside DZBuild

The courier's delivery fee. It is set by the courier, per its own tariff. How much of it you pass on to the buyer is your decision, in your shipping rates.

The weight surcharge. Carts above 5 kg add 50 DZD per extra kilogram to the shipping the buyer pays, and 100 DZD per extra kilogram in the 13 deep-south wilayas when your store's default courier is Yalidine, Yalitec or Guepex. This mirrors the courier's own weight rule and DZBuild applies it at checkout, so the extra weight is not paid out of your own pocket. It is not a DZBuild fee and DZBuild does not receive it.

If you would rather not have it on a product, leave that product's weight empty, or give the product free shipping. The surcharge is skipped whenever the order already ships free.

Frequently asked

Q: When a customer pays, does the money land in a DZBuild account first and then get transferred to me? A: No. There is no intermediate account. COD cash goes buyer to courier to you. A digital transfer goes from the buyer straight into the account you published.

Q: Does DZBuild take a commission on orders? A: No. The subscription is the whole price, whatever you sell and however much.

Q: Do I need a bank account or a card to sell? A: Not to sell. You need an account your courier can pay into, or, on a digital store, whatever account you publish for buyers. A card or a BaridiMob transfer is only needed to pay for your own DZBuild plan.

Q: How long before I see my COD money? A: Ask your courier. The schedule is theirs, it varies between companies, and DZBuild has no part in it.

Q: Can my customers pay by card on my storefront? A: Not today. Card checkout for buyers is planned, with no date announced. Physical stores use COD; digital stores use manual transfers with a receipt.

Q: Can I sell to buyers outside Algeria? A: Not for now. DZBuild stores serve Algeria, and other markets are planned with no date announced.
