Copilot points

Copilot points are what your conversations with DZBuild Copilot are metered in. Every plan receives points automatically each month, you get 5 welcome points the first time you open the chat, and you can buy more at /dashboard/copilot/points.

Points are not AI credits. They are two separate balances that pay for two different things — see the comparison below.

What a point buys

A point is one unit of conversation. In practice:

MessageRoughly
A normal question or a small change1 to 2 points
A job with several steps — set up a store, build a whole landing pagemore
A web search, or a document you attachedmore, because everything you send enters the conversation

Copilot's reply, the work it does in your store, and anything you attach are all metered on the same balance. Your balance is shown with one decimal, so partial use is visible.

What you get free, every month

Points are added automatically at the start of each month, based on the best plan among the stores you own:

PlanPoints per month
Free5
Pro20
Unlimited60
Enterprise150

Plus 5 welcome points the first time you ever open Copilot.

Points accumulate — they are never reset

The monthly points are added to what you already have; they do not replace it. Nothing expires. If you did not use last month's points, they are still there.

  1. Open /dashboard/copilot/points from the sidebar.
  2. Pick a pack and click Buy.
  3. Pay with your CIB or Edahabia card. That is the rail the points page offers — there is no bank transfer or receipt upload for points.

Points are added automatically a few minutes after the payment settles. While that is happening the purchase shows as paid — being added in your purchase history on the same page; once it lands the row reads added.

A point you buy arrives as a whole point. There is no conversion and no fee taken out of it.

Reading your balance

The points page shows your balance, the plan your monthly grant is based on, the time it was last updated, and your last ten purchases. The number is a snapshot that refreshes regularly, so it can lag your very latest message by a few minutes.

If the balance shows a dash instead of a number, you have never opened Copilot on that account — open the chat once and the balance appears.

When you run out

Copilot pauses and shows a message with a link back to the points page. Nothing is lost:

  • Your conversations stay exactly where they are.
  • Your store is untouched — anything already done stays done.
  • Buy points and continue in the same chat.

There is no automatic top-up and no charge you did not choose. Copilot simply stops until you refill it.

Points vs AI credits

DZBuild has two AI balances. They are not interchangeable.

Asking Copilot to generate a landing page spends AI credits

Building a landing page section by section through Copilot costs only points. Asking it to generate a complete page with AI spends that store's AI credits on top. Copilot tells you before it starts, and a failed generation refunds the credits.
