Flash Manager Integration β Automatic Order Sync
Category: External platforms Β Β·Β Min plan: Free Β Β·Β Slug: flash-manager
Flash Manager (flash-manager.com) is a COD order-management and order-confirmation platform β its own tagline is COD order management, WhatsApp confirmations & Meta ROAS. Algerian merchants use it as a call-center workspace where a confirmation team calls or WhatsApps every new order, marks it confirmed or cancelled, and follows the delivery afterwards. DZBuild ships a native integration with it, so every order placed on your store lands in Flash Manager automatically, with no export and no copy-paste.
Video tutorialβ
Featuresβ
- Order sync β new DZBuild orders are sent to Flash Manager automatically.
- Confirmation center β your team confirms orders in Flash Manager, including by WhatsApp.
- Delivery tracking β Flash Manager's own delivery statuses are shown back inside DZBuild.
- Advanced reports β Flash Manager's reporting on your order flow.
- Campaign ROAS tracking β Flash Manager's Meta ROAS view of your orders.
- Advanced API β the connection uses your own Flash Manager API key, stored encrypted.
What it doesβ
Once your store is connected, DZBuild sends each new order to Flash Manager within seconds of it being placed. This covers orders from every selling surface β your storefront checkout, your landing pages, and orders you create manually from the Orders page.
Nothing has to be clicked per order, and no CSV is involved. Each order is sent exactly once, so a duplicate can never appear in Flash Manager even if the same order is submitted for sending twice.
In the other direction, DZBuild polls Flash Manager every few minutes and shows the confirmation and delivery status of each sent order inside the integration page. Those statuses are only copied onto your DZBuild orders if you switch the mirror option on β it is off by default.
Status mirroringβ
When Update order status from FlashManager is enabled, Flash Manager's vocabulary is translated to DZBuild order statuses like this:
| Flash Manager status | Your DZBuild order becomes |
|---|---|
| New, Callback, No answer | Pending |
| Confirmed, Confirmed by customer, Self-confirmation | Confirmed |
| Cancelled, Duplicate, Wrong number | Cancelled |
| Label created, Ready for pickup | Processing |
| Picked up, Out for delivery, Attempted delivery, Delayed | Shipped |
| Delivered | Delivered |
| Failure | Returned |
Two guards always apply, even with mirroring on. An order that has already been sent to a delivery company from DZBuild is never overwritten β its courier tracking stays the source of truth. And an order already in a final state (delivered, returned, cancelled) never walks backwards.
Benefitsβ
- No manual re-entry. Your confirmation agents stop retyping names, phones, wilayas and totals into a second tool β the order is already there, complete.
- Faster confirmation. Orders appear in the confirmation queue seconds after checkout, while the buyer still remembers ordering. Calling early is what keeps confirmation rates high.
- Fewer returns. Wrong numbers, duplicates and undecided buyers get filtered before the parcel is handed to a courier, instead of coming back as a paid return.
- One place to look. The integration page shows how many orders were sent, how many are still open, and what Flash Manager says about each one, next to your own store status.
- ROAS visibility. Because every order reaches Flash Manager, its Meta ROAS reporting sees your full order volume, not a manually exported subset.
How to activateβ
- Open Dashboard β Add-ons at
/dashboard/addons. - Scroll to the External platforms section and find the FlashManager card.
- Click Connect FlashManager β it opens the management page at
/dashboard/addons/flash-manager. - In Flash Manager, go to Settings β API β Generate API key and copy the key (it starts with
fm_). - Paste it into the API key field and click Connect.
The integration is free on every DZBuild plan β Free, Pro, Unlimited and Enterprise. There is nothing to buy on the DZBuild side.
Using itβ
Connection cardβ
- The header shows a Connected or Not connected badge.
- After connecting β or after pressing Test connection β the page displays your Flash Manager account, plan, and orders used out of your plan's monthly allowance.
- Your API key is stored encrypted and never rendered in the browser. Once connected, the field only shows a masked hint like
fm_live_β’β’β’β’β’β’β’β’abcd; typing a new key replaces the old one. - Disconnect removes the connection at any time. Your saved settings are kept.
The key you generate must carry the orders:write permission. A key without it is refused at connect time with a clear message β generate a new key in Flash Manager with that permission enabled.
Countersβ
Four tiles summarise the sync β Orders sent, In progress, Completed, and Not sent yet.
Settingsβ
- Send new orders automatically β on by default. This is what makes new orders flow without any action from you.
- Update order status from FlashManager β off by default. Turn it on only if Flash Manager is your primary source of order statuses.
Press Save to apply.
Sending older ordersβ
If there are orders that were never sent β for example orders placed before you connected β a Send unsynced orders button appears. It asks for confirmation first, because those orders count against your Flash Manager plan's monthly order quota. Confirmed orders are then sent gradually in the background.
Recent orders tableβ
The last sent orders are listed with Order, Customer, Total, Store status, FlashManager number, FlashManager status, and Sent at. Confirmed and delivered rows are highlighted in green, cancelled and failed ones in red.
If something goes wrongβ
When Flash Manager refuses a request, a Last error banner appears at the top of the page with the reason β key rejected, monthly order limit reached on your Flash Manager plan, or missing permissions. Fixing the cause (reconnecting with a valid key, upgrading your Flash Manager plan) resumes sending on its own.
FAQβ
Does the Flash Manager integration cost anything on DZBuild?β
No. It is free on all DZBuild plans. You only pay Flash Manager for their own plan, and their plans carry a monthly order quota β their free plan allows 100 orders per month. That quota lives entirely on the Flash Manager side.
Can the same order be sent twice?β
No. Every order is sent exactly once, and a re-send of an order that already exists in Flash Manager is ignored β you will never see duplicated orders there because of DZBuild.
Do I have to click anything for each new order?β
No. With Send new orders automatically on (the default), orders leave for Flash Manager within seconds of being placed β storefront, landing page, or manually created. The Send unsynced orders button exists only for backfilling older orders.
I already send orders to a courier from DZBuild. Will Flash Manager overwrite my statuses?β
Not unless you ask for it. Update order status from FlashManager is off by default, and even when enabled, orders already sent to a delivery company from DZBuild are never touched, so your courier tracking stays authoritative.
Where do I find the other integrations?β
All add-ons and external platforms live on the same page β see the Add-ons catalog and the External platforms section of /dashboard/addons.
