Subscriptions

DZBuild has four plans: Free, Pro, Unlimited, and Enterprise (custom). New accounts get a 3-day free trial of Pro automatically — no credit card needed — so you can build your store, list products, and even take real orders before you decide whether to subscribe.

Naming heads-up: The Unlimited plan's slug in the platform code and the dashboard label is unlimited (displayed as Illimité in French and غير محدود in Arabic). Same plan, same price, same features — we use the Unlimited label across the EN docs.

The 3-day Pro trial

When you create an account at /register:

  • Your store starts on Pro, free, for 3 days.
  • All Pro features are unlocked: 300 products, landing pages, Pixel, custom domain, abandoned-cart recovery, advanced storefront customization.
  • The countdown is shown in your dashboard.
  • At the end of the 3 days, the storefront stays online and your data is preserved, but the store drops to Free unless you subscribe — Pro features pause and products beyond 5 are hidden.

The trial happens once per account.

Subscribing

  1. Open /dashboard/subscribe.
  2. Pick a plan (Pro or Unlimited). Enterprise is by request — see Enterprise.
  3. Pick a duration (1 / 3 / 6 / 12 months). Annual saves the equivalent of two months on Pro and five months on Unlimited.
  4. Pick a payment method:
    • CIB / Edahabia via Slick-Pay — the merchant-to-DZBuild payment runs through a platform-managed Slick-Pay account, so you don't need your own Slick-Pay keys for plan payments. Activation is automatic within ~30 seconds after 3-D Secure.
    • Manual receipt — pay by bank transfer or BaridiMob and upload the receipt. Our team verifies and activates within 24 hours (often faster).
  5. Once activated, all features unlock immediately.

Renewals

  • Renewal is manual, not auto-charged. We email reminders 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before expiry.
  • Renewing before expiry stacks: the new duration is added to the existing one with no gap.
  • Renewing after expiry restarts the plan from the day of payment.

What happens at expiry / drop-to-Free

  • The storefront stays online — customers can still browse and buy (within Free's 30-orders-per-month cap).
  • All your data is preserved: orders, products, customers, landing pages, Pixel configuration, custom domain mappings.
  • Plan-gated behavior:
    • Products beyond the 5-product cap are hidden from the storefront — not deleted. Re-subscribing instantly re-shows them.
    • Pixels stop firing (Free has 0 Pixel slots), config preserved.
    • Landing pages stop publishing (Free has 0 LP slots; existing LPs remain in dashboard, can be individually purchased at 1,000 DZD lifetime).
    • Custom domain HTTPS auto-renewal pauses — the dzbuild.app subdomain keeps working.
    • Team member invitations are revoked until you re-subscribe.
  • Re-subscribing flips everything back on instantly.

Multiple stores

If you're on Unlimited or Enterprise, each store under your account has its own subscription state but shares your single billing identity. Orders, products, and customers stay scoped per store. See Multi-store.

Frequently asked

Q: Can I get an invoice? A: Yes. Open /dashboard/invoice/download after activation. Both automated (Slick-Pay) and manual-receipt payments produce a numbered invoice.

Q: Can I pay annually for one store and monthly for another? A: Yes, on Unlimited. Each store has its own subscription record.

Q: What if my receipt is rejected? A: You'll get an email with the reason. Re-upload a clearer copy and we'll re-verify, usually within an hour.

Q: Refund policy? A: Pro and Unlimited subscriptions are non-refundable once activated. Enterprise refunds are governed by the contract.

Q: I see "Unlimited" / "Illimité" / "غير محدود" — is that Unlimited? A: Yes. Same plan. The slug is unlimited in our codebase, the AR/FR display in the dashboard is "غير محدود" / "Illimité", and we use Unlimited as the marketing display name in EN docs.
