Free plan
The Free plan is no longer offered as a standard plan to new merchants. It's granted only on request, in rare cases (typically for non-profits, students, or specific partner programs).
If you're starting today, your entry point is the 3-day Pro trial — every new account gets it automatically. After the trial, you subscribe to Pro, Unlimited, or Enterprise (custom).
This page is kept for reference only and for stores that already had Free before the change.
The Free plan, where it still exists, is the most restrictive tier — sufficient to test the platform but not to operate a real business at scale.

When Free is enough
- You're testing an idea — list 1-3 products, take your first orders, validate the niche.
- You sell from social media (Facebook page, Instagram, TikTok) and DZBuild is just the order-taking + courier-handoff layer.
- You're inside the 3-day Pro trial deciding whether to subscribe.
When Free runs out
You'll notice the limits start hurting when:
- You hit 5 products. Adding a 6th is blocked. If you previously had more (e.g. you dropped from Pro), products beyond the 5 most-recent are hidden from the storefront — they reappear the moment you re-subscribe.
- You hit 30 orders in a calendar month. New orders are rejected for the rest of the month with a polite message; the limit resets on the 1st.
- You want to add a Facebook Pixel — Free has 0 Pixel slots. Subscribe to Pro to unlock 1 per type.
- You want a landing page for an ad campaign — Free includes 0 LPs. You can buy single ones for 1,000 DZD lifetime, or subscribe to Pro for 3 included.
- You want a custom domain (
yourshop.com) — Pro or above only. - You want to invite a team member — Pro starts at 1; Unlimited at 3; Enterprise at 10.

What happens when a paid plan expires
An expired paid plan (Pro, Unlimited, or Enterprise) is not run as a Free store. If you do not renew:
- Your storefront goes offline. Anyone who visits your store — on your
your-slug.dzbuild.appsubdomain or your custom domain — sees a "Store Unavailable" page. Customers cannot browse or buy until you renew. - Your custom domain is unlinked. About 12 hours after expiry, any connected custom domain is disconnected (removed from DZBuild and Cloudflare). When you renew, just re-connect it from
/dashboard/domains— it takes a minute. - Nothing is deleted. Your products, orders, customers, settings, landing pages, Pixels and all configuration are kept exactly as they were — your plan is never downgraded behind the scenes.
- Renew anytime and everything comes back instantly — your storefront goes live again and all your data is exactly where you left it. (Just re-link your custom domain.)
If an account stays unrenewed for 12 consecutive months, DZBuild reserves the right to close it. This is not automatic, but please renew — or export your data — if you intend to keep the account.
Tips for staying productive on Free
- Curate your 5 products. Pick your top sellers; on Free, breadth doesn't matter as much as the storefront looking complete.
- Use a single sharp landing page if needed — buy one for 1,000 DZD lifetime instead of subscribing if your offer is one product.
- Track orders informally until you cross 30/month, then it's time to subscribe.
- Validate before paying. The 30-order monthly cap is generous for testing; only subscribe when the cap actually starts costing you sales.

Q: Can I stay on Free forever? A: Yes. There's no time limit on Free — it's not a trial that expires. Just be aware of the 5-product / 30-order caps.
Q: I just signed up — am I on Free or Pro? A: New accounts get a 3-day Pro trial automatically. After day 3, you drop to Free unless you subscribe. See Subscriptions.
Q: My Pro plan expired and my store shows "Store Unavailable". Did you delete my data?
A: No. When a paid plan expires the storefront goes offline (customers see a "Store Unavailable" page) and the custom domain is unlinked, but nothing is deleted — your products, orders and all configuration are kept. Renew from /dashboard/subscribe and your store goes live again instantly with all your data; just re-link your custom domain from /dashboard/domains.
