Branding
Your branding is the part of the storefront that says "this is me, not a generic shop." DZBuild lets you set every visual element from one page: Dashboard → Customize (/dashboard/customize).
Logo
Upload from Dashboard → Customize → Brand → Logo.
| Spec | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Format | PNG (transparent background) or SVG |
| Aspect ratio | ~3:1 (wider than tall) |
| Resolution | At least 300 × 100 px |
| Max size | 1 MB |
The logo shows up in:
- The storefront header
- The dashboard header (you, while logged in)
- Order receipts (PDF)
- Delivery labels printed for couriers
- Email notifications sent to customers
If you upload a transparent PNG / SVG, the logo blends with both light and dark headers. Avoid baking your background colour into the logo file.
Favicon
The little icon in the browser tab. Dashboard → Customize → Brand → Favicon. Use a square PNG or ICO at 32 × 32 px (or higher — we down-scale).
Custom favicon is available on Unlimited (slug unlimited) and Enterprise plans only. Free and Pro stores show the default DZBuild favicon. Upgrade from /dashboard/subscribe — the ▶ How to renew button on that page launches a guided in-app tour, and video walkthroughs are on the DZBuild YouTube channel.
Social-card image (Open Graph)
Shown when your storefront URL gets shared on Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram DMs. Dashboard → Customize → Brand → OG Image (sometimes labeled Social card image).
| Spec | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Size | 1200 × 630 px |
| Format | JPG or PNG |
| Max size | 300 KB |
| Content | Logo + product hero + tagline. Don't put fine text — it gets squashed in previews. |
Storefront banners
The hero / promotional banner area on the homepage. Each theme has 1–3 banner slots.
- Recommended: 1920 × 600 px JPG, ≤ 300 KB.
- Each banner can link to a product, a category, or a landing page.
- The Digital theme has its own dedicated banner uploader at
/dashboard/customize/digital/upload-banner— use it from the Digital customize page.
Colors
Pick four base colors:
- Primary — dominant accent (buttons, links, hover states).
- Secondary — supporting accent (badges, highlights).
- Background — main page background (usually white or off-white).
- Text — body text (usually
#111or near-black).
Live preview shows your storefront and dashboard adapting as you pick. Some themes (Prestige, Showcase) expose extra accent colors and a hero overlay opacity slider.
Typography
Font choices for the storefront:
| Font | Languages |
|---|---|
| Cairo | Arabic + Latin (default — covers both well) |
| Tajawal | Arabic + Latin |
| Almarai | Arabic |
| Inter | Latin only |
| Roboto | Latin only |
Pick a primary font (used for body text). Some themes accept a separate heading font — keep them harmonious or stick with one font for both.
Store name and meta description
The store name appears in the browser tab, the OG / social card preview, search-engine results, and the storefront header (when no logo is set). Keep it short — 2–4 words is best.
The meta description (160 chars max) is what shows up in Google search snippets. Include your category and the value proposition.
Resetting the customization
If a customization session went sideways, Dashboard → Customize → Reset (/dashboard/customize/reset) restores the default theme settings. Your products and orders are not affected — only the look-and-feel.
Brand consistency tips
- Use the same logo file across the storefront, packaging, social profiles, and order receipts. Consistency builds trust.
- Pick two colors max as primary accents — too many looks amateur.
- Stick to one or two fonts total — body + heading.
- Use real product photos, not stock — Algerian buyers can spot stock photography instantly and it kills conversion.
- Test the OG image by sharing your URL in a private WhatsApp chat first; iterate until the preview looks right.
