How to build a landing page for cash on delivery in Algeria
A landing page is one page that sells one product, with the order form on the page itself. Your buyer in Algeria pays cash at the door. Ask only for name, phone, wilaya, commune and address. Show that wilaya's delivery price before the buyer presses the button.
DZBuild publishes this article, and we sell one of the tools named in it. Every competitor price below was read from that company's own page on 7 September 2026 and carries that date.
When a landing page beats a product page
Your storefront is built for browsing. A landing page is built for one decision.
Use a landing page when you paid for the click. An ad on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok sends a cold visitor who came for one product. A menu, a search box and 40 other products give that visitor somewhere else to go.
Use your normal product page when the visitor is already inside your store, or when the sale depends on comparing two items.
| The visitor | Send them to |
|---|---|
| Clicked your ad for one product | A landing page |
| Arrived from Google or from a friend | Your storefront |
| Wants to compare models and sizes | Your product page |
| Is buying a bundle you push hard | A landing page |
Either way, the page has to open fast on a phone. That is where your ad traffic lands.
What a cash on delivery buyer needs to see
Your buyer risks nothing when ordering and everything when the parcel arrives. The page has to answer doubt, not only price.
Seven things belong on it:
- What the product is, in one line, in the first screen.
- Real photos of the real item, not supplier renders.
- The price in dinars, written once, clearly.
- The delivery price for the buyer's own wilaya.
- How many days the delivery takes.
- The words "you pay when you receive it".
- A phone number or a WhatsApp button for questions.
A page that hides the delivery price until the last step teaches the buyer to refuse the parcel at the door.
Where the order form goes on the page
On the page, not behind it. A buyer paying cash has no reason to cross a cart and then a checkout screen. Each extra screen costs orders on a 4G phone.
Put the form in two places. Once under the first screen, for the buyer who is already sold. Once after the photos and the proof, for the buyer who needed convincing.
Keep the fields to five: name, phone, wilaya, commune, address. Add quantity if you sell several at a time. Ask for nothing else. No account, no password, no email.
On DZBuild the landing page carries no navigation, no search box and no footer, and it sits on your own domain. The form reads your real product, your real stock and your real per-wilaya shipping, instead of a price copied by hand.
What to write in each section
Nine blocks, in this order, is a page that works on a phone.
- Headline. Name the product and the result the buyer gets. No slogan.
- First photo. The item alone, on a clean background.
- Price block. The price in dinars. Show a crossed-out old price only if it was really your price.
- Three benefits. In the words your customers use on the phone, not in marketing words.
- Proof. Photos of delivered parcels, screenshots of real messages, reviews you actually received.
- Objections. Sizes, colours, warranty, what happens if the item does not fit.
- The order form. The second copy of it.
- Delivery line. The wilaya price and the number of days, again.
- Contact button. WhatsApp or a phone number for the buyer who wants to hear a voice.
The words themselves are their own craft, and we cover the frameworks in how to write product descriptions that sell. The video or image that runs before the click is a separate job, covered in ad creative for Algerian stores.
How the delivery price reaches the page
Delivery is often the number that decides the order. It changes by wilaya, so one flat price either loses you money in the south or scares off buyers in Alger.
Every wilaya needs two prices. A home delivery price, and a cheaper desk price for buyers who collect from the courier office. Heavy items need their own price, because couriers charge by weight.
So the table comes first, and the page reads from it. The buyer chooses a wilaya, and the page shows that row.
On DZBuild every wilaya carries a home price, a desk price, a delivery estimate and its own on and off switch. Desk delivery is quoted to the buyer at the cheaper rate, from that same table.
Put your own wilaya prices into the table once, and your page quotes the buyer the same total you see in your dashboard.
What free landing page tools leave out
Free page builders exist, and some are good at making a page. They are not built to take a cash order in Algeria. Prices below were read on 7 September 2026, at a rate of 133.2 dinars to 1 US dollar (open.er-api.com, same day).
| Tool | What its own page said on 7 September 2026 |
|---|---|
| Systeme.io | Free plan at 0 dollars with 3 sales funnels and 1 custom domain. Startup is 17 dollars a month, about 2,265 DZD. |
| Landingi | No free plan. A 14-day trial capped at 200 visits. Build is 24 dollars a month billed annually, about 3,200 DZD. |
| PageFly | Free tier with 1 published slot, Builder from 24 dollars a month. It only installs on an active Shopify store, so a Shopify subscription is on top. |
Their pricing pages, read on the same day, name none of the parts a cash order needs here. No table of 58 wilaya prices. No stock that moves when you confirm the order on the phone. No delivery company to hand the parcel to. You also pay them in dollars, which is its own problem for a merchant holding a CIB or EDAHABIA card.
The full list of what a landing page section can hold is in the landing pages documentation. You do not need an account to read it.
How to build and test two versions
- Pick one product that already has at least one clear photo.
- Write the headline and the offer before you open any builder.
- Add the nine blocks in the order above.
- Put the order form in twice, and cut every field you do not need to deliver the parcel.
- Set the wilaya prices, then order from your own page to check the total.
- Open the page on your own phone, on mobile data, and count the seconds.
- Build a second version that changes one thing only. The headline, or the first photo, or the price block.
- Split your ad traffic between the two, and judge them on orders, not on clicks.
On DZBuild you add 14 section types and drag them into the order you want. The preview beside the editor is the real page, not a mock-up. The A/B testing add-on is included from the Pro plan. It gives you one link that rotates visitors across two to five pages, and it counts the orders each page produced. End the test and the same link sends everyone to the winner, with no change to your ad.
How long to run a test, and how many orders make the result real, is arithmetic. We cover it in analytics and CRO for Algerian stores.
A new DZBuild store gets 3 days of the Pro plan, with no card asked for. That is enough time to build the first page and run one test. After the 3 days the plan is paid in dinars.
Mistakes that cost orders on Algerian pages
- The ad promises one thing and the page shows another. The buyer leaves in two seconds.
- The price is hidden until the form. Buyers read that as a trick.
- Stock photos from the supplier. Algerian buyers recognise them, and they raise doubt instead of desire.
- A form with eight fields. Every field you add loses orders, and email is the worst offender on cash traffic.
- Fake counters and timers that reset. A "12 people are viewing" line convinces nobody who has seen it before. It costs you the trust the rest of the page earned.
- The page was only ever opened on a laptop. Test at phone width first, because that is where the money is.
What a landing page cannot fix
A page cannot fix a product nobody wants. A price the market rejects stays rejected, and so does a delivery cost that eats the whole margin. A phone nobody answers when the buyer calls back costs you the order the page just won. Refusals at the door are a separate problem with separate fixes, written down in how to reduce your COD return rate.
Our own landing pages have limits, and they are easier to read here than to discover after your campaign starts. Promo codes do not work on landing pages at all. An order from a landing page can arrive with no variant chosen, so check colour and size on the confirmation call. The standard order form has no email field, and a landing-page order is stored with an empty email. Page slots come from the plan: the Free plan has none, and Pro includes 3 pages in total.
Questions people ask about landing pages
What is a landing page? One page with one product, one offer and one order form. No menu, no search, no other products.
Can I make a landing page for free? You can make the page for free on several international tools. What is not free is a page that knows your stock, quotes a wilaya delivery price and sends the parcel to your courier. On DZBuild the Free plan is a legacy plan, given only on request. Every new store starts with 3 days of Pro, without a card.
What is the difference between a landing page and a home page? A home page shows the shop. A landing page shows one product and asks for the order.
Do I need a landing page for Facebook ads? Not always, but you usually convert better with one. If your product page already carries the order form and no distractions, it can do the same job.
Can one landing page sell several products? It can sell one product in several quantities, like two pieces at a better price. Selling different products on one page splits the decision and costs orders.
How many sections should a landing page have? Enough to answer the buyer and stop. Nine blocks is a good page. Twenty blocks is a page nobody scrolls to the end of.
How these numbers were checked
- Competitor prices: read on 7 September 2026 from systeme.io/pricing, landingi.com/pricing and the PageFly listing on apps.shopify.com/pagefly, then re-read unchanged on 8 September 2026.
- Exchange rate: 1 US dollar to 133.2 Algerian dinars, from open.er-api.com on 7 September 2026. Dinar figures are rounded and move with the rate.
- Carrd was on our list and its pricing page returned an error on 7 September 2026, so we print no figure for it.
- DZBuild features, plan limits and the landing-page limits above: taken from a verification pass over the live platform and its published documentation on 7 September 2026.
- We publish no merchant story, screenshot or conversion percentage that we did not measure ourselves. There are none in this article, which is why you will not find a "this page converted at 12%" line anywhere in it.
