AI Landing Page Generator: What It Makes and How Often It Fails (2026)

We build the platform

An AI landing page generator turns one product photo into a finished sales page that can take an order. Over the last 30 days on our own live system, 73 of those runs finished and 35 failed. About one run in three gave the merchant nothing on the first press.

DZBuild publishes this article, and DZBuild sells one of the tools described in it. Every number about our generator was read from our own live system on 7 September 2026. Every price from another company was read from that company's own pricing page on the same day.

What an AI landing page generator makes

You pick a product. The tool writes the sales copy, draws the pictures, and puts the two together as a page with its own link.

On DZBuild the result is one tall image panel, or three stacked panels if you pay for the longer page. The sales words are drawn inside the artwork. Under the panels sits a cash on delivery order form, coloured from the same design.

That form is the part that matters. It is your real product, your real stock and your real delivery price for each wilaya, not a copy of them. The page is live from the second it is created.

That is the question to ask about any tool in this category. Does the output take an order by itself, or is it a picture of a page that you still have to rebuild somewhere else?

What you have to give it first

Five things are required, and one is optional.

  • An active product that already has at least one photo. A product with no photo is greyed out and says "add a photo first", because the page is built out of that photo.
  • A page title, at least 3 characters long.
  • A brief, if you want one. This is the optional part, and it holds up to 2,000 characters.
  • The language of the page: Algerian Arabic, French or English.
  • The length: one panel for 20 points, three panels for 45. The long option is greyed out and marked "balance too low" when your points do not cover it.
  • A free landing page slot, which comes from your plan. Free has 0 slots, so the wizard refuses. Pro allows 3 landing pages in total. Unlimited and Enterprise have no cap.

The full list of landing page sections, and how the order form is set up, is in the landing pages documentation. You do not need an account to read it.

How often it fails, and who pays for the failure

Over 30 days on the live system: 73 runs finished, 35 failed. The most common cause was the image step refusing to draw the artwork it was asked for.

That is a high failure rate and we are not going to dress it up. What makes it survivable is that a failed run costs you nothing.

Before a single point leaves your balance, the platform checks the product. It has to exist, be active, belong to your store and carry a photo. It also checks that the AI service is answering. If the service is down you get a message saying so, and no points are taken.

If the points were already taken and the run then breaks, they come back on their own. A double press is blocked and refunded. A run still unfinished after about ten minutes is marked failed and refunded. A refused image or a failed writing step is refunded too.

Every failure message tells you whether the points were kept or returned, and each refund appears as its own line in your points history. So you can check the story instead of believing it.

Plan on some pages needing a second attempt. The second attempt is paid for by the refund from the first.

How long one page takes

Usually a minute or two. Some runs took much longer, past seven minutes.

You do not have to sit and watch. The progress screen names each step as it works: preparing the product and its photos, writing the copy, creating the images, assembling the sections, final review. It also tells you in plain words that you can leave.

Close the tab, answer a customer, come back later. The finished page will be waiting in your landing pages list, and reopening the wizard reattaches to the run instead of starting a new one.

Is the Arabic good enough to publish

The instruction the writer follows names Algerian Arabic specifically. It bans Moroccan and Egyptian dialect words, and it forbids the stiff formal-only Arabic that makes a page read like a government form.

Technical words stay as the merchant typed them: Bluetooth stays Bluetooth, IP67 stays IP67, USB-C stays USB-C. Numbers come out in Western digits, the ones Algerian buyers read on a price tag.

Merchants voted with their clicks. Over 60 days there were 188 Arabic generations against 5 French.

Read the page on your phone before you spend one dinar on ads. The words live inside the picture, so a wrong word is not something you can type over later. That is the next section.

What you can change afterwards, and what you cannot

You can change the layout. Sections can be moved, added, removed and swapped. The order form is yours to configure. The whole page opens in the normal builder, like any page you built by hand.

You cannot change the words. The sales copy is drawn into the artwork, so editing it means running the generator again and paying the points again.

You do not choose the colours either. The palette comes from the AI, and the platform only adjusts it until the text on the order form is readable against its background.

Two more limits apply to every landing page, not only generated ones. The landing page order form has no email field. Promo codes do not work on landing pages at all.

If you want to see the wizard before deciding, a new store gets 3 days of Pro. No bank card is asked for at signup. After those 3 days the store needs a paid plan to keep selling. Points are a separate purchase, because no plan includes any.

What one page costs in points and dinars

Points are bought in packs, with a CIB or EDAHABIA card, and they land on the balance as soon as the payment goes through. There is no bonus on top of a pack, and points do not expire.

PackPointsPriceCost per point
Starter50500 DZD10 DZD
Standard1501,200 DZD8 DZD
Pro5003,000 DZD6 DZD
Business1,5007,500 DZD5 DZD

A one-panel page costs 20 points and a three-panel page costs 45. Buy the smallest pack and that is 200 DZD for the short page and 450 DZD for the long one. Buy the biggest pack and the same pages cost 100 DZD and 225 DZD.

Add the plan on top, because the page needs a slot to live in. Pro is 1,000 DZD a month and holds 3 landing pages, a figure we verified for our platform comparison on 19 August 2026.

The rest of this category sells by the month instead. Unbounce's pricing page on 7 September 2026 lists Starter at 29 US dollars a month on monthly billing. AI copywriting starts on the Build plan, at 99 dollars.

Leadpages' pricing page, read the same day, showed euros. Its Grow plan, which lists AI page creation, is 115 euros a month. That day the rate was 133.20 dinars to the dollar and 154.76 dinars to the euro.

So the two Unbounce tiers cost roughly 3,900 DZD and 13,200 DZD a month. Leadpages Grow lands at roughly 17,800 DZD. You pay it whether you make a page that month or not.

When to write the page yourself instead

Use the normal builder, or hire someone, when the exact wording carries weight. A guarantee, a size chart, a price written into the copy. Anything the delivery man will be asked about at the door belongs in text you can fix in ten seconds.

Skip the generator if your product photo is weak, because the page is built out of that photo. Skip it if you want your own brand colours. Skip it if you plan to test two headlines against each other, since every new version is a new run and new points.

There is a post on this blog arguing that AI-built stores fail to convert, and it is right about whole stores. A page generated inside a platform is a narrower thing.

The order form, the stock count and the per-wilaya delivery price come from the platform. No AI wrote those. A site coded by AI from nothing has none of those, which is the difference that post is really about.

If you would rather build the page by hand, our guide to landing pages for cash on delivery walks through it section by section.

Questions people ask about AI landing pages

Can I make an AI landing page for free? Not on DZBuild. Every point is bought, no plan includes any, and the Free plan has zero landing page slots so the wizard will not open at all.

What does one AI landing page cost? Between 100 and 200 DZD for a one-panel page. Between 225 and 450 DZD for a three-panel page. The exact figure depends on which point pack you bought.

Can I edit the text after the page is generated? No. The words are drawn inside the images. You can rearrange sections and edit the order form, but changing a sentence means generating the page again.

Is the Arabic real Algerian Arabic? That is what the writer is instructed to produce, and Moroccan and Egyptian dialect words are banned outright. Read it yourself before you publish, because you cannot correct it by typing.

What happens if the generation fails? Your points come back automatically and the refund shows as its own line in your points history. If the AI service is unreachable, nothing is taken in the first place.

How do I pay for points from Algeria? With a CIB or EDAHABIA card, inside the dashboard. Point packs cannot be paid by BaridiMob receipt.

How these numbers were measured

The run counts came from our own live system, read on 7 September 2026. Over the previous 30 days: 73 completed generations and 35 failed. Over the previous 60 days: 188 Arabic generations against 5 French. They are our own numbers about our own tool, which is why they are here rather than in a marketing page.

Point prices, pack sizes, the 20 and 45 point page costs and the landing page slot limits were read from the live product on 7 September 2026. The Pro price of 1,000 DZD a month was verified on 19 August 2026 for our platform comparison.

Unbounce prices came from unbounce.com/pricing, read 7 September 2026. Leadpages prices came from leadpages.com/pricing, read 7 September 2026, which served us euro prices. The exchange rates, 133.20 dinars to the US dollar and 154.76 dinars to the euro, came from exchangerate-api.com's public rate, updated 7 September 2026.

Correction, 7 September 2026. Our own landing pages documentation says the generated blocks stay editable after a run. That is only half true and we are fixing the page. The sections, the images and the order form are editable. The sales copy is not, because it is drawn into the artwork, and the only way to change a word is to generate the page again.
