# Card discount

A buyer who pays by card has already paid when the parcel leaves, and the courier collects nothing at the door. You can reward that with a discount that applies only when the buyer pays by card.

## Set it

1. Open **Settings › Payment methods**.
2. Open the connect window of your card provider (Chargily Pay, Slick-Pay or Stripe) with **Connect account** or **Edit key**.
3. Fill **Card payment discount (%)** with a number from 0 to 50, then press **Test and connect**.

Leave the field empty for no discount.

## What the buyer sees

The card tile reads, for example, "5% off when paying by card".

## How it is counted

* If the order is later [converted to cash on delivery](https://dzbuild.com/docs/payments/card-orders.md), the card discount is removed and the order goes on as a normal cash order.
