# Design your store with the AI assistant

The design assistant lives inside the Customize page. You describe your business in a few words, and it picks the colours, the font, the texts and the home page sections of your store, then changes them while the preview shows the result. Afterwards you keep writing to it: "darker colours", "a bigger buy button", "add a questions section". It spends your [Copilot points](https://dzbuild.com/docs/copilot/points.md), and each change in its latest reply has its own undo button.

## Where to find it

In the dashboard sidebar, open **Personnaliser la boutique / تخصيص المتجر**, then **Personnaliser / تخصيص** ([`/dashboard/customize`](https://dzbuild.com/dashboard/customize)). On a computer, the **Assistant IA / المساعد الذكي** button sits at the top of the settings column. On a phone, it is the **Assistant / المساعد** button in the bottom row, next to **Enregistrer les modifications / حفظ التغييرات**. The assistant opens in the settings column.

## Describe your store

The first time, the assistant asks you to describe your store. Write what you sell and the feel you want, in Arabic, Algerian darija or French, for example *"children's clothes, cheerful and soft colours"*, or tap one of the examples under the box. Then tap **Créer mon design / صمّم متجري**.

A first design sets a palette and a font that suit your business, the hero and block titles, the button style, large buy buttons, an announcement about payment on delivery on Pro and above, and up to three home page sections for your main categories, with a trust section and a short questions section when your plan has room for them. It keeps your theme and the sections you already have. It usually takes under a minute, and a whole store can take up to a minute and a half.

After that the panel is a chat. Write one change at a time, and the assistant answers in your language in one or two short sentences. If the Customize page has unsaved edits, they are saved before the assistant starts. Its own changes are saved at once: you do not need to save after it.

## Example pictures

Tap **Image d’exemple / صورة مثال** to attach up to 3 pictures, for example a store or a product whose look you like. The assistant takes the mood, the colours and the layout idea from them. It does not copy their text, logos or prices into your store. A picture must be at least 200 pixels wide and tall and under 8 MB, in JPG or PNG.

## What a message costs

Each message spends Copilot points from the same balance as the Copilot chat. The panel shows your balance next to **Points / النقاط**, and tapping it opens the points page. Typical costs:

| A small change, such as new colours     | 1 to 2 points  |
| A whole-store design from a description | about 4 points |

A message with pictures costs a little more, because the pictures are read too. If you have never opened Copilot, the assistant uses this month's grant of your plan. To buy more points, open Copilot once so your balance exists, then buy a pack on the [points page](https://dzbuild.com/docs/copilot/points.md). The balance in the panel counts your last message at once; the points page can take a few minutes to catch up.

## Undo a change

Under each reply that changed something, a **Ce qui a changé / ما تغيّر** list shows one line per change: colours and texts, home page sections, theme, order form style or variant style. Tap **Annuler / تراجع** on a line and that change goes back the way it was, in the preview and on your store.

Only the latest list has undo buttons, and a new conversation starts with none.

## It changed something I did not want

1. Tap **Annuler / تراجع** on that line of the latest **Ce qui a changé / ما تغيّر** list.
2. If the line has no button any more, tell the assistant what you want back, for example *"put the old green back"*, or change it yourself in the sections of the Customize page.
3. If you added, moved or removed home page sections after that change, its undo is refused and the panel says so. Ask the assistant for the layout you want.

Do not use the **↺ Reset** button for this: it resets the whole store and deletes your uploaded images. See [Storefront customization](https://dzbuild.com/docs/storefront/customization.md).

## When visitors see the change

The preview shows the change as soon as the assistant answers. Visitors see it on your live store within about 5 minutes, the same delay as any change made in Customize.

## Who can use it

| **Team members** | Members with the **Personnaliser la boutique / تخصيص المتجر** permission. A team member spends their own Copilot points, not the owner's. |
| **Stores**       | The store selected in your dashboard.                                                                                                     |

## What it does not change

The assistant changes the look and the words of your store, nothing else. It does not touch products, prices, photos, stock, orders, delivery prices or couriers. It does not change your store name, your logo, the hero pictures, the store language, pixels, promo codes, domains, landing pages, custom CSS or JavaScript, or the DZBuild branding in the footer. It does not move your store to or from the Digital theme: do that from the Themes page. For each of these, the assistant tells you where to go.
